Before your first rehearsal, confirm you have the official LDS Primary songbook or digital sheet music for every selected piece. Download or print copies in advance, and check for any errata or updates from the Church’s music resources. Having clean, legible sheets prevents mid-session confusion and keeps the focus on learning.
Schedule practices in a space with good acoustics and minimal distractions. Short, frequent sessions work better for young children than long, exhausting ones. Assign a co-leader to help manage the group, and always start with a quick vocal warm-up to set the tone.
